Case study

The brief
Project objectives
- Organise the site by sector so a brief lands on the right page
- Put licensing near the top instead of in the terms
- Carry case studies, pricing and an FAQ behind every sector
- Build one template so a new sector takes a morning
What we did
The commercial photography side of the business, covering construction, manufacturing, food and drink, education, events, property and portraits across Lincolnshire, Rutland, the East Midlands and nationally.
This one had to work for marketing managers and agencies, who arrive with a brief and a budget rather than a vague idea. So the site is built around sectors — conference and events, schools and universities, food and drink, property, drone and aerial — with case studies, pricing and a straight FAQ behind them.
The line that does the most work is the one about licensing: commercial usage is included, so there is no licence to chase later. That single sentence removes the thing most often argued about after a shoot, and it sits near the top rather than in the terms.
The theme is custom built: an animated headline over a full-bleed frame, a floating navigation bar, and sector pages that share one template so a new sector is a morning’s work rather than a rebuild. Same approach as our website design work for clients.
Fancy being our next one?
Tell us what you do and what the current site is not doing for you. We will come back with what we would build and roughly what it would cost.
