Case study
Midlands Aerial Surveys

The brief
Project objectives
- Answer a procurement question, not a homeowner's
- Name the deliverable on every service page
- State the quote, the contact and the processing up front
- Build the structure around service, sector and region for search
What we did
Midlands Aerial Surveys is our commercial drone arm, working from Stamford across the Midlands, Yorkshire and East Anglia for construction, civils, roofing, telecoms, insurance, utilities and property.
The buyer here is a site manager or a surveyor, not a homeowner, so the site is written to answer a procurement question rather than to impress. Roof surveys, inspections, aerial mapping, bridge inspection, construction progress photography, cell tower and wind turbine inspection and solar panel surveys each get their own page, with the deliverable named in plain terms.
Three things are said on every page because they are the three that decide the job: processing is done in house, there is one point of contact from quote to delivery, and the quote is fixed and in writing. Site specific risk assessments and the authorisations held are stated rather than implied.
The design is a deep navy against the company blue, with a full-bleed survey frame behind the headline and a light and dark mode. The structure was built for search around service plus sector plus region, which is how this work is looked for.
Fancy being our next one?
Tell us what you do and what the current site is not doing for you. We will come back with what we would build and roughly what it would cost.
